I am certainly caught up on the basics: it’s a new format from any other year, it has two captains who will draft the players for their team, but I am lost when it comes to the process behind the draft itself.

I love how all of my Tumblr friends are like, 18 and older, and are actually legal to be flirting with all these hockey players and I’m the awkward fifteen year old.

in what way do your friends come upon the players in a situation in which they interact and “flirt”? i imagine whatever it is, there is no legal barrier to holding up a sign, or asking for an autograph with a wink and a smile ;)

It can be funny if an anon really catures the players personality and is not merely a message to flatter the person recieving it or else play at their fantasy of a given player. To each his or her own I guess, it just gets a little frustrating when your dash is bombarded with them.
i see where you are coming from bc the only reason i even noticed this trend was bc of the sheer volume it occurs on my dashboard. i like what you say about capturing the players personality. i suppose it has a lot to do with what a person wants a players personality to be, or what they have projected or assigned to that player based on what they know about them as a hockey player.
i feel like i walked thru the wardrobe and entered some kind of internet narnia. this is so far beyond any interactions ive ever witnessed (i would like to stress that i dont mean that in a negative way.)

what an interesting form of role playing. fascinating how playing out certain “fan fiction” adapts to any form of social media. this is surely the strangest i have ever encountered. (im a psychology major, dont mind me..)

Clarification please?
i have been exploring my dashboard for several hours and my mind begs the question:
- who and what are the anonymous comments signed hockey players names? as in, what purpose does it serve? those who partake in it: what do you like about it?
im intrigued by this interaction. i appreciate any feedback. no judgement set forth! thanks in advance :)

youre welcome :) thanks for the follow as well. this isnt my first time using tumblr, but it is my first time following hockey fans and using it for the sole purpose of hockey networking. i do love it so far :)
